Configuration management
The STOLL PPS can retrieve and display configuration data for the machines managed by it, have them edited by the user and transfer them again to a machine.
This applies to the following configuration data:
- File paths
- The user list with the MCPINs (encrypted)
- Shift systems with their times
- Machine options
- VNC-Server yes/no
- USB yes/no
The STOLL PPS additionally checks the operating system versions of the machines managed by it to ensure the compatibility with the system version of the PPS. In case of incompatibility the STOLL PPS recommends an update of the machine software.
If the STOLL PPS receives the PowerOn signal of a machine, the following elements are checked:
- The machine is managed by another STOLL PPS?
- The version of the interface is still compatible?
- The state of the machine configuration is still up to date?
In case it is to old, the current configuration is automatically transferred for the machine.
