Order templates

In the STOLL PPS, the orders are always generated based on an order template. This template comes with a ready-to-use basic structure, specific data like the order type, the pattern and specific auxiliary data. When assigning the mask for a new order, the selected data can be changed and completed before generating the order.

The order templates are to simplify the order entry pre-assigning specific data, while others are still offered to the user for completion.

With the STOLL PPS is delivered a set of order templates that you can directly use. But you can expand or change them. Depending on how your company works, it can also be reasonable to generate your own, specific order templates for your products. The preparation of templates for specific, most frequent produced orders of your customers, is also possible.

A template consists of the following data:

• Name
• Template description
• A Velocity template for the order
• A Velocity template for the Custom block
• A set of predetermined production parameters
• Order description
• Order number
• Order type
• Piece number
• Estimated production duration of one piece
• Article number
• Pattern file or MCOS update path
• Style sheet file for the display (XSL)
• Auxiliary files for the display (ZIP)
• Auxiliary data (Custom and User tags)

To be able to change order templates, there is needed information about the template format. The recording of the production parameter is carried out as with the orders.
