Report Types

The report types define which data (of the SKR or PPS database) are to be evaluated with which parameters. The data can be e.g. production data or running times of machines. The representation of the results is determined via report files (.rptdesign type), which must be developed before the use. The representation possibilities cover for example tables and typical diagrams.

Report Files

The Report files are the basis for the report generation.
If you need more Report files than those delivered with the PPS, you have to develop and design them outside of the PPS.
For this purpose, an independent application - the BIRT Designer - is used. It is available as a plug-in for the eclipse development environment.

• The functional range covers all requirements of generating reports within the PPS and is available in the most common languages.
