Shift System

STOLL machines are operated by shifts in general. To be able to assign the machine events to these shifts for a statistical evaluation, the current shift is determined on the machine. The information about the shifts of a concrete company can be determined on the STOLL PPS and on all the managed machines. The distribution of the information to the managed STOLL machines is automatically carried out by the STOLL PPS in the background.

IMPORTANT: The STOLL PPS considers the information about the shift system also for the forecast calculation. Break shifts and so-called unman shifts, when the machines are without supervision of operators (e.g. during the night) remain producing until the first stand still are taken into account with the help of the efficiency factor.
