Determining the MCOS update path

Here, you define the path where the machines look for OS update files

    Select Configuration in the main menu.

    Select the Other configuration tab of the 2nd level.

    Select the Machine in the Configuration list.
  1. The entry window for the machine configuration appears.

    Enter the desired directory in the Network path for MC update edit box.
    The path must be accessible from the machine.
    If only OKC machines are managed with this PPS and the updates are to be obtained via the integrated FTP server in the default setting, the path can be entered like this:
    ftp://f140401va/McFiles/MCOSUpdate
    Replace f140401va by your server.

    Select the Save button.
  1. The MCOS update network path is saved and from now on it is used for updates.
  2. Machines connected to the PPS in the future, will automatically receive this setting by the STOLL PPS configuration management.
