FTP and KnitFTP configuration

The STOLL PPS has an internal FTP server, which offers reading and writing access and which can be used for the access via STOLL machines and design equipments.
Here, the use is possible as:

• central pattern directory for the access via machines
• File location for machine configuration backups
• File location for machine crash log files
  for example for subsequent requests to the STOLL service
• File location for template auxiliary files for the ticket display
  Images, style sheets, JavaScript files

Beyond this, the STOLL PPS itself communicates with the machines via a specific FTP dialect called KnitFTP.
