Stitch Nameserver

The Stitch Nameserver (SNS) is the centralized database within the network in order to manage networking EKC- and OKC-machines.

• With the web-based access to the Stitch Nameserver you can have a look on the entries and edit some of the data.
• Networking EKC- and OKC-machines register themselves actively at the Stitch Nameserver.
  They will appear automatically in the web-based access to the Stitch Nameserver.
• Production devices (Production Devices – PD) can be added manually to theStitch Nameserver:
• Knitting machines of third-party manufacturers
• CMS-TC machines
• Devices, terminals and workstations supporting the workflow
  Dyeing, linking and washing machines, workstations of the quality management
• You can integrate production devices into the workflow managed by PPS.
• You can add pattern-workstations and any kind of file servers (e. g. PPS, File Servers for pattern and operating systems) to the network by the Web-based access.
  File Servers are passive and do not connect directly to the Nameserver.
