Architecture of the Stoll-knit report® software

This section contains information about how the components of the Stoll-knit report® software communicate with each other.

• All the components are networked at the Stoll-knit report® software.
  One or more knitting machines (1) are connected to the central administration (SKR central unit) (2) of the Stoll-knit report® software.
• When you have activated the Stoll-knit report® software, the data of th connected knitting machines are detected and saved in the live database (4).
• With administrator programs (3) you can administer the machine lists, define user-defined events, display log messages and set up the live backup (5), recover a backup of the PPS/SKR or SNS database (9) as well as defragment the database.
• Using various web applications that are installed on a web server (7), you can store the data temporarily in a temporary analysis database (6) and call up and display them with a javascript-compatible browser (8).
