Databases of the PPS Server Suite

The web application of the PPS system backs up your data on the PostgreSQL database. The Stoll Knit Report (SKR) software backs up the collected data in this database as well.
The Stoll Naming Service (SNS, data record of all the devices present in the Stoll network), as an independent component, secures its data in a separate SQ-Lite database.

Please take into account that the automatic data backup carried out by the delivered backup software only contains the PostgreSQL database. The SNS data, which normally does not change frequently can manually be backed up via theSNS web application.
