Installing the PPS Client (web browser)

The PPS Server Suite does not support all browsers equally, as this would be hardly possible from a technical aspect. Each browser works with its own and modified rendering engines which interpret the HTML code in a different way.

The supported browsers are the HTML5 capable Internet Edge and current Chrome browsers. The Internet Explorer 11 is no longer developed further by Microsoft and can, therefore, be used only in a limited way, as the page processing takes to long with many managed machines.

• If none of both browsers is available on your client, then install one of both.
• If the browsers are outdated, then update them.
• The Tools installation directory contains a ChromeStandaloneSetup.exe installer for the Chrome browser. You can update the installation in your national language if necessary.
