How to Manage Printers

For the PPS to be able to access the printer, it must be Postscript compatible, accessible via the network and its driver must be installed locally.

Take into account the printer connection

Printers may not be operated via USB port.

Printers may not be addressed via print spooler software.

Install the printer driver locally on the PPS server to bypass the print spooler.

1: Follow the instructions of the printer manufacturer to install the corresponding driver and to set it up. Print a test page to check its outcome.

When you add a new printer to the operating system.

Restart the PPS to be able to select the printer.
