Which yarn carriers are needed for the new pattern?

The machine compares the two yarn carrier home positions ("old-new").

This way, you obtain an immediate overview:

which yarn carrier is also needed in the new pattern
which yarn carrier is newly added.
This means that it must be mounted additionally on the machine.
which yarn carrier is no longer needed.
If necessary, remove this yarn carrier from the machine

Example:
