Install EVP under the OKC operating system

How to install an EVP at an existing OKC operating system:

  1. knitevp.zip is available
  2. Operating System V_OKC_006.002.000_STOLL or higher
  3. No fabric in production

    Open Main Menu / Service / Software Update.

    Select EVP file.

    Click Carry out update

    The Update successfully installed message appears.

How to install an EVP together with the new OKC operating system:

  1. knitevp.zip is available
  2. Control generation OKC 3, OKC 5 or OKC 6
  3. IPC starting with version 8
    At least the P8X_003.010 image
  4. Operating system before V_OKC_006.002.000_STOLL
  5. No fabric in production

    Save all files to be installed (operating system, language pack and knitevp.zip file) to one common directory (source folder).

    Open Main Menu / Service / Software Update.

    Select source folder.

    Click Carry out update
  1. The installation files are copied on the hard disk of the machine in a separate storage location.
  2. The Update successfully installed message appears.

    Activate Automatic Installation.
  1. Operating system, language pack and EVP (knitevp.zip) file will be installed at restart of the machine. You can use the features after the restart.
