Create Yarn Type

Here, you create a new yarn type and save it in the yarn database.

With these buttons you call up this page:

• Create New Yarn Type
• Copy yarn type
  Entries for the copied yarn type appear in the edit boxes

Mandatory fields for yarn types:

• Yarn ID
• The Yarn ID (1) can be freely derived in accordance with a separate schema or, for example, be derived from or identical to the product identifier, but may never be issued multiple times. This ID must be used in the sampling system in order to reference this yarn. Yarn information for the yarn carrier
• Count
• Yarn Quality
  The yarn thickness (2) and the number of threads characterize the yarn quality
• Number of Yarn Threads
  Number of individual threads (3)
• Nm/tex/Ne
  Unit of measure of yarn thickness (4)
• Yarn Information

Optional settings for yarn types:

• Manufacturer
  Supplier of the yarns (5)
• Manufacturer
• Supplier
• Product Name
  Trade name of supplier (6)
• Color
  Actual color of the yarns (7)
• Material
  Description or trade name (8)
• Comment
  Description or note (9)

Confirm entries with Save (10).
The entry page for the new yarn type appears.
Lots with the relevant yarn quantities are added to the storage using Generate New Lot ....
