Greasing racking device

Grease gun: |

- Position the rear needle bed at an angle (see Remove needle bed or position it at an angle).

- Remove the cover over the racking spindle.
- 3
- Apply grease on the racking strip and on the sliding guidances with a brush.
- 4
- Grease the lubricating nipple (1) with a grease gun (Grease: Klueber Staburags NBU 8 EP, ID 267 423)
Grease the racking device of the additional beds

- Remove the cover of the racking device on the right-hand side of the needle bed.
- 1264
- Apply grease on the racking strip and on the sliding guidances with a brush.
- 1265
- Grease the lubricating nipple (2) with a grease gun (Klueber Staburags NBU 8 EP, ID 267 423).
- 1266
- Repeat the works on the left-hand side of the needle bed.
Grease the racking device of the additional beds
- 1267
- Remove the cover of the racking device on the right-hand side of the needle bed.
- 1268
- Apply grease on the racking strip and on the sliding guidances with a brush.
- 1269
- Grease the lubricating nipple (2) with a grease gun (Klueber Staburags NBU 8 EP, ID 267 423).
- 1270
- Repeat the works on the left-hand side of the needle bed.
