Download the EVP

    Call up the following website:
    http://evp.stoll.com/request_evp_download/index.html

    Select the language.

    Enter the machine number.

    Save the "EVP_Download.zip" file on your computer.

    Extract the "EVP_Download.zip" file.
  1. The "Knitevp.zip" file will be generated.

    Copy this file to the USB memory stick.

Install the EVP

    The USB memory stick with the "Knitevp.zip" file is plugged.

    Open the EVP tab.

    Select folder with the desired EVP.
    Select F drive and confirm with OK.

    Start EVP import.

Check and correct the system time

The three states of the system time:

系统时间有效。

Everything is all right, no remedy required.

Remedy: Set correct system time of the EKC operating system.

    Correct the data, if necessary.

Remedy: Require the time EVP at STOLL, and load it into the machine.

  1. The system time is set correctly (see above, point 2)
  2. The USB memory stick is plugged
  3. The EVP tab is open

    Generate the Time-Synchronization File.

  1. The "TimeCert_mc-number.bin" file will be saved on the USB Memory Stick.

    Send this file to STOLL.
    For doing this, log on in the STOLL customer's network.

    In the "Extended Value Package" menu, select the " Request certified system time" (3) program point.
    Transmit the time synchronisation file ("TimeCert_mc-number.bin") to STOLL here.

    You will get an email with an time EVP from STOLL.

    Install the time EVP on the machine.

    Make settings for Stitch Nameserver (SNS) or PPS, if necessary.
