How to bring the carriage to an immediate standstill

In order to stop the movement of the carriage immediately, carry out one of the following functions:

    Turn the engagement rod (1) backwards (zero position).

    Open covers (2).
    3
    Press the emergency stop pushbutton (3).
    4
    Switch off main switch (4).
