New knitting functions

The knitting functions Reclaiming and Splitting can be used on the BMS machine.

Reclaiming

When reclaiming, prior to forming a new stitch or to transferring, the needle is sunk again in order to tighten or to pre-stretch the old stitch.

Splitting

By the splitting process, the stitch is divided with transferring the way that only one of the two stitch legs is transferred to the receiving needle. As the delivering needle in the same knitting system immediately forms a stitch, the openings, that otherwise occur during transfer, are closed.

You need the following version on the pattern preparation unit to be able to select these knitting functions.

You will find further information in the online help for the pattern preparation unit.
