Remove the carriage from the machine

You can remove the carriage on the left or on the right-hand side of the machine.

    Disconnect machine main switch.

    Loosen screws (1).

    Push the cover (2) inward.
    Attention: Move the cover on the left side of the machine only 2-3 cm, as the cable would otherwise damage the sensor.

    Loosen screw (3).

    On the inside of the lateral cover (5) unplug the grounding cable and the "XZ 22/23" plug.

    Loosen screws (4).

    On the machine front side press the lateral cover (5) a little outward and push it upwards.

    Remove the lateral cover.

    On the rear of the machine remove the rear panel.

    Loosen the knurled screws (6) and remove the cover (7).

    Unplug the plugs (8) and drag the cable with the cable sleeve (9) out of the housing.

    Remove the screws (10).

    Tilt the carriage driver (11) a little to the back and push the carriage to the side.

    With two persons, push the carriage outwards until it can be removed from the machine.

    Place the carriage on a level surface (e.g. workbench or table).
