Not Sunken Tuck (Tight tuck)

Each knitting system of the BMS machine can knit tuck or "not sunken tuck". This is also called Tight tuck.

Explanation

Knitting Technique

Tuck:
The tuck loop and the stitch will have the same stitch length (stitch tension).

"Not Sunken Tuck":
The needle is not sunken, i.e. it is not pulled down to the loop sinking depth. Thereby, the tuck loop will be knitted tighter than stitch.

Notice

With "Not Sunken Tuck" the tuck will always be knitted of equal length. It is not possible to set a NP value for the tuck.

You need the following version on the pattern preparation unit in order to be able to select the needle action "Not Sunken Tuck":

You will find further information in the online help for the pattern preparation unit.
