Import or export machine settings and network drives

You can export the machine settings and import them on other machines.

Machine Settings include the following settings:

Network Drives
  • Path specifications of the network drives

You will find these settings in the menu:

  Carriage Speed
  • Reduced Speed
  • Quantity of knitting rows at reduced speed following a machine stop
  • Speed Outside the Knitting Area
  • Speed with Open Covers

You will find these settings in the menu:

Various operational settings
  • Time, after which the lighting of the needle beds will be switched off.
  • Knitting program is included in the logfile
  • Horn (ON, OFF, Intermittent Tone)
  • Display of the Run-through Counter
  • Delayed Switch-off in Case of Power Failure
  • Technical View
  • Relieve the Fabric When Switching off the Machine

Vacuum
  • Vacuum Off Whole Needle Bed
  • Number of courses without suction
  • Number of courses with suction

Clean Selection Systems
  • Direction of Cleaning Row
  • Number of courses until the selection systems are cleaned

Manual Lubricating or Central Lubrication
  • Manual Lubricating
    • Quantity of system run-throughs after which the needle bed should be manually oiled
    • Machine stop after the maximum quantity of system run-throughs is reached
  • Central Lubrication
    • Quantity of system run-throughs until oiling the knitting area
    • Quantity of lubrication processes after which the entire needle bed will be lubricated

Show Locked Menus
  • Show or hide locked menus

You will find this setting in the menu:

Waiting time for the screen saver
  • Waiting time for the screen saver

You will find this setting in the menu:

Proceed as follows:

    Make machine settings at a machine.

    Export the machine settings.

    Import the machine settings on the other machines.

    All machines are working with the same machine settings.

Export the machine settings

The machine settings are exported with the following file name:
machinesettings.xml

Import the Machine Settings

During the import, you can choose if you want to import individual settings or all of them.

If a setting is inactive (1), it will not be imported, since this setting is not available in this machine (e.g. central lubrication).
