Clean Selection Systems
Brushes are attached at the side of the needle bed. The carriage runs so far outwards that the brushes (1) clean the selection systems. This does not interrupt ongoing knitting process.

If the carriage runs over the brushes, e.g. when it runs outwards to the clamping-cutting bed, then this course and the cleaning course will be carried out together. If the brushes are not overrun after the preset quantity of courses, then a cleaning course will be carried out (1 course = 2 rows). | |
