Operating system EKC V 2.1 (or higher).

The machine is connected to the PPS system.

You can use the RFID technology to login at the machine quickly and easily.
Benefit: You do not need a PIN to login at the machine.

A RFID system consists of a transmitter (card or chip) carried by the user and a reader. The reader is plugged to the USB socket at the multi touch panel.

Condition: The reader (with HID technology) supports USB.

Registering RFID chip at PPS

Each user gets his personalized RFID chip.

    Plug the RFID reader to the PPS client.

    Call up the Users tab of the Configuration dialog box.

    Select the user.

    Click the RFID edit box.

    Put the RFID chip on the reader.
    The chip identifier is automatically applied to the user profile.

    Save the settings.

    Mark the RFID chip in order to hand it to the corresponding user.

    Repeat the steps 3 to 5 if you want supply RFID chips to additional users.

Using RFID chip at the machine

    Plug the RFID reader to the machine.

    Tap the Shift, User Group button and put the RFID chip on the reader in order to login at the machine.
