ADF - Double the quantity of yarn control units

For the coarser ADF machines (E5 - E8) is a second yarn guide device available.

This special attachment (ID 283 754) consists of:

Mounting the yarn guide device

Run the assembly with two people so that the yarn guide system is not damaged.

    Disconnect machine main switch.

    Unplug the cable at the signal lamp and at the yarn guide system.

    Dismantle signal lamp.

    Loosen the screws (1) on both side of the machine.

    Push the yarn guide system upwards together with somebody else, so that the support does not tilt.

    Put the yarn guide system down carefully beside the machine.

    Assemble the bow (2) on both sides of the machine in such a way that a gap (3) remains.
    The previous yarn guide system is assembled again through this gap in the next step.

    Assemble the previous yarn guide system again and screw it down with the screws (1) (see step 4).

    On both sides of the machine move the bow into the end position and screw it down.

    Assemble the new yarn guide system and screw it down.

    Assemble signal lamp.

    Open the right safety door.

    Unplug the XZ_6 plug and remove the previous cable.

    Plug the provided cable (ID 270 104) into the lower yarn guide system, upper yarn guide system and into the signal light.

    Plug the XZ_6 plug into the XZ_6 socket.

    Close the right safety door.

    Switch the machine main switch on again.
