W Machine - New Weft Yarn Carrier Qt

For the W Machine there is another weft yarn carrier available:

Up to now

Qw yarn carrier

One weft yarn carrier can be used per system.

New

Qt yarn carrier

There are three models of the Qt weft yarn carriers:

The yarn carrier plunger (A) is activated outside of the yarn carrier carriage and pushes the yarn carrier.

Benefit:

No additional system is required for the weft yarn.
One system only inserts the weft yarn and encloses it by knitting.
Exact and smooth weft yarn insertion due to the wider guidance of the Qt weft yarn carriers on the rail.

Working with Qt

One system only (S2) inserts the weft yarn and encloses it by knitting.

The yarn carriers must be on different tracks.

The Qt yarn carrier is used on track 3 to track 6.
Only one Qt yarn carrier can be used per track.
If the Qt2 or Qt3 weft yarn carrier is used in the S2 or S3 system, then it is not possible to work with the leading system. There is a risk that the needles of the leading system collide with the weft yarn carrier.

Notes:

Height of the Qt yarn carrier = Height of a normal yarn carrier
The yarn carrier bow is taken from the corresponding normal yarn carrier.
After a yarn brake or moving it manually, you have to move the Qt yarn carrier back to its last valid position.
Other positions lead to indeterminate movements of the yarn carrier and damage.
