Switch on or off the needle selection and the yarn carriers in the corresponding carriage

You have two options for resuming the production:

Option 1:

Do not cast-off the defective fabric

Option 2:

Cast-off the defective fabric

  • Switch off the needle selection in the corresponding carriage.
  • The setting window for the WM% value appears.
(WM%=Modify the fabric take-down value by n percent)
  • Close the WM% menu without making any change.
As you do not cast-off the fabric, the fabric take-down value must be adapted.
  • Continue production.
  • Switch off the needle selection in the corresponding carriage.
  • The setting window for the WM% value appears.
(WM%=Modify the fabric take-down value by n percent)

As only one fabric is produced, the take-down value for the following production is to high - it must be adapted. In order to decrease the take-down, enter a negative value, for example -50 and confirm the value.
  • Cast-off the fabric of the deactivated carriage manually and remove it from the fabric take-down and comb take-down.
  • Manually park the yarn carriers of the deactivated carriage, which are currently in the needle bed, outside the needle bed or bring them into the clamp.
  • Continue production.

Switching-off is only possible for the current fabric piece.
The needle selection must be reactivated manually when the next fabric is started. The production over several pieces with needle selection deactivated is not possible. The reason for this is the comb thread, which is transferred from one carriage to the other one in a swing stroke.
