Backup

You can start the following functions within this dialog box:

Symbol	Function	Meaning
	Create Backup	Save the current database as backup file.
	Restore Backup	Load the backup file into the database. The dialog box appears in order to select a backup file.
	Reset Database	Delete database and rebuild it. Machines and workstations with active Nameserver appears after restart within the Default group. Computers added manually will no longer appear then. Groupings will get lost.

Notice:

Back-up the database regularly.
Reset the database before loading a backup.
Activate the PPS Backup Service on the same computer.
The Backup Service will then daily backup the SNS database together with the Base-Backup.
Example: File sns.sqlite in the C:\PPS\Backup\2016-03-25T134528+0100\Base directory.
