Unique MCPIN numbers

    Assign a different MCPIN number to each user to be able to identify the user unambiguously. If a MCPIN is already used, you receive a warning.

Adding user photos:

If you have a smart phone or tablet and can access the PPS Web site with it, you can directly upload photos taken with the integrated camera using browsers like Chrome and Safari. With few clicks you can add photos of the users to the user profile.

Do not use the highest resolution. About 1024x768 pixels and an aspect ratio of 4:3 is sufficient.

  1. You want to use the smartphone to add a photo to the user profile

    Open the user profile of the user.

    Click on the Upload Image button.

    Select the camera.

    Set the resolution to the closes value to 1024x768 and the aspect ratio to 4:3. The aspect ratio has a higher priority.

    Take the photo and click on Save.
  3. The photo is transferred to the PPS and displayed.

    In the user profile click on Save also if the photo rotated.

    Rotate it 90º to the right with the Rotate Image button until it is correctly displayed if necessary.

    Then Save the changes.
  1. The photo is added to the user profile.

If you want to use images from other sources, save them in the D:\PPS\Images\Users folder on the PPS server.

Using Skype

The PPS Server Suite is not involved in the Skype communication.
PPS transfers only the partner to Skype to whom Skype should establish the connection.

    Call up the users profile and click the Connect via Skype button, if you want to connect to an user via Skype
