Job Roles in PPS
STOLL PPS has a role concept with which access to individual features can be granted or denied. The job roles of STOLL PPS are oriented to the tasks in the company and enable the use of the necessary features in the necessary panes.
Any number of job roles can be assigned to each user in the User administration compartment. Even no role can optionally be assigned. The access without role to the STOLL PPS is specified under -> -> .
The following job roles can be assigned to a user:

Administration
The administrator sets up users, rooms, printers and more configurations -
Senior Machine Management
The senior machine manager makes machines available and sets up machine groups -
Machine Management
The machine manager sets up machines and maintains them. This includes maintenance orders in the order pane. -
Scheduling
The dispatcher is responsible for production orders. -
Yarn Management
The yarn manager manages the yarn quantities available in stock
Visibility mostly includes writing rights.
The following restrictions are provided:

Without Job Role
Only the pages Orders→State and Devices→Machine State are visible with anonymous access.
Only reading access is available to these pages.
You can set filters. -
Message Area and Subscriptions
Appearing messages and subscribed events are restricted to the job roles of the user. The link from a message to VNC is available for machine managers only. - Orders
- Only machine managers can edit maintenance orders and templates.
- Only dispatchers can edit production orders and templates.
- Only machines of groups assigned to the user are visible.
- Reporting
- Eventlog and stop statistic is visible to the machine manager.
- Production report is visible to the dispatcher.
- Devices
- The device overview can only be edited by the machine manager.
You can edit only some of the fields. - The VNC link is available for the machine manager only.

Configuration
Only senior machine managers can create and edit device types.
Notice
- Changes to permissions will not take effect until the next logon.
- The administrator should not remove the Administrator role himself, as this will exclude him from the user management.
