Intervene Manually I

Cleaning the touch screen

To prevent menus and function keys from being activated when cleaning the touch screen, tap the Cleaning touch screen button. The touch screen will be blocked for 15 seconds. If this period is not enough, tap the button again.

Use a clean, soft cloth for cleaning.
If heavy soiling is present, use a cleaning agent suitable for acrylic glass.

Suspend Production

The production of the current order will be interrupted.

Starting with the next Reversal, the carriage moves back and forth without knitting (empty row).

If you deactivate this function, the production will continue automatically.

For example:

  • for threading-up the yarn carriers after a yarn breakage - move the carriage to the side, so that it is easier for you to thread-up the yarn carriers.
  • for minor repairs (replacement of a defective needle)
  • for cleaning or lubricating work

So that you can see immediately that the production was interrupted, a pause character (II) is displayed.

Suspend Production, Continue Production

Reduced Speed

The speed is reduced.
(Default: 70% of the production speed)

Production status: yellow (no optimal production)

So that you can see immediately that no optimal production is possible with this setting, the color of the information area changes from green to yellow.

Changing the reduced speed:
Configure Machine -> Operational Settings -> Carriage

Restart Fabric

Cancels the current fabric, and starts a new one of the current position (knitting program).
For example, when the fabric is defective.

The machine automatically begins with a new fabric.

from line

You will be asked, at which row the knitting program is to be started. The machine automatically begins with a new fabric.

This function is only active if the order consists of one knitting program.

Delete all yarn carrier positions.

Example:

The fabric piece is defective and you stop the carriage. In order to remedy the error you push the yarn carriers outward into clamping position and clamp the threads manually.

Before restarting the fabric piece you should know the following details:

If the yarn carrier positions are not deleted

  • For the machine it is clear that the yarn carriers are still in the needle bed. (The yarn carriers were manually parked outward by you and the threads were clamped manually as well.)
  • When starting the new fabric piece, the machine will bring the yarn carriers into their home position in the clamping points.
  • The machine opens the corresponding clamp in the clamping and cutting bed and the manually clamped thread is released, i.e. unthreaded.
    And that is annoying.

The yarn carrier positions are deleted

  • To avoid the unthreading, tap the Delete All Yarn Carrier Positions button.
  • This way, the machine knows that all the yarn carriers are located in their clamping points.

Picking-up after Pressing-off from Row

Opens the dialog box to enter the Sintral line number where picking-up after pressing-off starts from.

Conditions for this function:

  • The order consists of one knitting program
  • Machine without comb take-down
  • Machine with comb take-down but without use of comb

Picking-up after pressing-off (#90)

Extended Stroke

The carriage stroke will be extended by the set option.

If you tap on the icon , you can select one of the following options:

  • Carriage out of Needle Bed
The carriage moves all over the entire needle bed width.
For example, for threading-up the yarn carriers - stop the carriage at an appropriate position, so that it is easier for you to thread-up the yarn carriers.
  • Carriage, 2 Inches Beyond Fabric Selvedge
The carriage always moves 2 inches beyond the fabric selvedge.
For example, when you set-up an order, you will have a better view onto the fabric selvedge and the yarn carrier stopping positions.

Production status: yellow (no optimal production)

So that you can see immediately that no optimal production is possible with this setting, the color of the information area changes from green to yellow.

Restart Fabric Automatically

The machine automatically begins with a new fabric if the following conditions are met:

  1. Racking located on home position
  2. Yarn carriers located at starting position
  3. Carriage direction allows new start

As long as these conditions are not met, cycles (RBEG...REND) will only be knitted once.

Needle Selection

Switch the needle selection on or off.

For example, when a needle is broken and the carriage is therefore blocked.

Cancel Production

The production of the current order is cancelled.

Starting with the next Reversal, the carriage moves back and forth without knitting (empty row).

For example if you want to exit the production to:

  • carry out major maintenance works
  • load a new operating system

Cancel Production and Start Order Again

Create Initial State

With the function Create Initial State there are carried-out the following steps:

  • The yarn carriers are taken to the home position, clamped and cut in the clamping and cutting bed
  • The fabric is cast-off (the new fabric is started again with "empty needles")
  • The needle bed is taken to the home position (V0)

Attention :

If you need to carry out a different work procedure for the restart of a fabric, e.g. when working without comb take-down, we recommend not to use the function Create Initial State.

Return the machine to the initial state.

With this, the individual aggregates (carriage, yarn carriers, racking,...) are brought to a defined state step by step.

When the steps are processed, the initial state is created and the machine is ready to knit.

Afterwards you can:

  • start a new fabric (continue the production)
  • create a new order
  • start a new order

Create Initial State

This function is only active if the order consists of one knitting program.

You are signed in as Maintenance (or higher).

The selected line will be repeated continuously until you restart the knitting program.

When carrying out cleaning, adjustments and repair work, it is helpful if a certain knitting situation (line) can be set-up immediately and repeated as often as needed.

Light

Switch on or off the lighting of the needle beds.

If the lighting is switched off, the following icon is displayed on the button.

Stop Machine

Stopping of the machine when the set condition is fulfilled (conditional stop).

If you tap on the button, you can select one of the following options:

  • At Next Reversal
Stop machine in next carriage reversal.
  • Once the Current Fabric Is Finished
Stop machine when the current fabric is completed.

  • Stop the machine when the set number of run-through has been reached.
  • In Minutes
Stop the machine when the remaining running time has expired.
  • At Sintral Line
Stop the machine if the set Sintral line has been reached.
  • At Jacquard line
Stop the machine when the set Jacquard line has been reached.
  • At Counter
Stop the machine when the counter has reached the set value.
  • At Cycle Counter
Stop the machine when the cycle counter has reached the set value.

So that you can see immediately that a conditional stop is activate, the word STOP is displayed in the status bar.

Suction

Switch fluff absorption on or off.

The needle beds in the knitting area are vacuumed off with the fluff absorption automatically.

If you tap on the icon , you can select one of the following options:

  • Interval
Periodic switch on and off of the suction device.
  • Permanent
The suction device is always switched on.
