Cleaning the touch screen

To prevent menus and function keys from being activated when cleaning the touch screen, tap the Cleaning touch screen button. The touch screen will be blocked for 15 seconds. If this period is not enough, tap the button again.


Use a clean, soft cloth for cleaning.
If heavy soiling is present, use a cleaning agent suitable for acrylic glass.

Send Message

Opens the dialog box to send a message to the Senior Operator or the maintenance staff.

Start the Feed Wheel on the Left Shortly

Friction feed wheel

Tap here to run the feed wheel for a short time, for example to make the thread-up easier. After 60 seconds, the function is automatically deactivated.

The feed wheel is switched on.

The feed wheel is switched off.

Use Left Feed Wheel

Tap here to activate or deactivate the feed wheel independently of the specification in the knitting program.

Clamping and Cutting

Opens the dialog box in order to clamp or to release the yarn with the clamping and cutting device.

Open Fabric Take-down and Continue to Knit

You are signed in as Senior Operator.

You can continue to knit with open fabric take-down.

When you execute the Picking-up after pressing-off function, you can leave the fabric take-down open until the fabric reaches the required length.

Open Fabric Take-down

Open and close fabric take-down.

For example, to remove a fabric winding from the main take-down.

Open Auxiliary Take-down

Open or close the auxiliary take-down.

For example, to remove a fabric winding from the auxiliary take-down.

Turn Forward

Turn belt take-down forward.

For example, to remove a fabric winding from the belt take-down.

Open Fabric Take-down

Open or close the belt take-down.

For example, to remove a fabric winding from the belt take-down.

Turn Back

Turn the belt take-down back.

For example, to remove a fabric winding from the belt take-down.

Comb Downwards

The comb hooks are opened; the comb moves to its lowest position.

For example, if you must cancel a recently started fabric. To be able to restart the fabric, the comb must be brought downwards to the starting position.

Catch Comb Thread

The comb moves upwards, grasps the comb thread and pulls it down.

For example, when the comb sequence is interrupted by a stop motion. In rare cases it may happen that the comb sequence is not continued automatically.

With the help of this button the comb sequence is continued.

Carriage on the Left

Tandem machine

Switch on or off the needle selection and the yarn carriers in the corresponding carriage.

If the left fabric is defective, for example, the needle selection and the yarn carriers in the left carriage can be switched off so that the right fabric can be completed.
