Deleting a device type

The Machine manager or Administrator can delete a device type.
A device type can only be deleted, if there are no longer machines are assigned to it.
Stoll device types can not be deleted.

  1. You want to delete a device type. All devices of this type are exported and no on is contained any longer in the PPS data base. See Export device from STOLL PPS management and Enable devices together with the history of the STOLL PPS management.

    Click Configuration in the main menu.

    Click on the Device types tab.
  1. The device type list appears.

    Select the desired device type in the device type list.
  1. On the right appears a mask with the data of the device type.

    Click the Delete device type button.

    Confirm the safety prompt of the STOLL PPS with OK.
  1. The device type data record is deleted.
