Installing the Database

In order to install the database, the SKR3 option must be selected in the installer. Depending of the number of SSDs, carry out an appropriate distribution of the databases selecting the drives. For this, by all means, take into account these notes: Performance and Scaling

For the _Skr2DbUser and the access to the database, you can enter a different password than the default one. In case you had ever installed the database and it is still in the target directory, the installer will ask you whether the database should be overwritten.

If the intention was to update the program code, select No and otherwise Yes to start with an empty database.

Further entries are not necessary. The installer installs all the required components.
