Operating Modes and their Usage
There are four operating modes available in the Setup2 Editor.

When to use:

Procedure: The target values are calculated for each knitting row. The basis for this is the calculated yarn length. The used yarn length is measured and compared to the calculated yarn length (calculated based on machine gauge, stitch length and needle number). In case of deviations that occur within the allowed range, the stitch length is corrected (see Calculating correction values ). | |

When to use:

Procedure: The target values are not calculated, but measured. The basis for this is the measured yarn length. The used yarn length is measured and compared to the specifications of the Master Piece. When to use: Working with knitting programs that were generated with an M1plus version V5.8 or older. This is the default setting in the Setup2 Editor. Therefore, you can load an older knitting program into the machine and start the production immediately without selecting a operating mode in the Setup2 Editor. |
